Job Title: Business Analyst
Job Location: Greenbelt, MD and other unanticipated locations across the US

Job Description: Gather and document Business and Functional Requirements; Translate and communicate Business/Functional Requirements Documents (BRD/FRD) to the technical team for development; Provide reporting both verbally and in writing to groups of varying knowledge levels and at varying degrees of specificity. Work with development team for system defects/enhancements; Coordinate user acceptance testing with end users; Research production problems/errors; Analyze and assess end-user issues and recommend corrective actions; Perform quality assurance testing of production fixes and new releases; Participate in the production and maintenance of Functional Requirements Documents, interface specifications, business process flow diagrams, and agency performance goals; Create UML diagrams using MS Visio.

Job Requirements:

Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in any subject from any accredited college or university. In lieu of bachelor’s degree, the employer will accept two additional years of experience in job offered.

Experience Requirements: One year of experience in the job offered or as a Business Analyst. Experience as a Business Analyst must include one year of experience in business and functional requirements gathering and translating BRD/FRD to the technical team for development; conduct quality assurance/user acceptance testing, and MS Visio to create UML diagrams.
